United Muay Thai Association

The Organization

The Head Office of the UMAI is located in Jaipur. The Honorary President is Mr. Prasenjit Singha. The Executive Board and Committees is made up of highly recognized personalities. Dr. Shri Ram Choudhary is the General Secretary and a renowned Muaythai personality, Mr. Rakhesh Meetei is the Treasurer.

The UMAI is an exceedingly democratic organization. The elections are held every four years during the Meetings and the Committees are evaluated every two years. In 2019 the UMAI merged with the IOC recognised International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) which was set up to take Muaythai to the Olympic mainstream. In order for the professional and amateur side to work together, many UMAI officials also hold various positions with the IFMA.
